What this service does

License validation, device activation, and issuance of short-lived tokens for running the application. Runs automatically in the background — no user configuration required.

Delivery of new application versions — checking for available updates and downloading installation packages from a trusted source, without users needing to visit a website or enter passwords.

For network and firewall administrators

If your network has software from bitbreeze installed (for example TAGRA, DBR, or other products), the application communicates with this domain for license validation and, in the future, for updates as well. This section summarizes what needs to be allowed and what data is transferred.

Domain that should be allowed (HTTPS, port 443):

bb-app.cz — licensing services and updates

Nature of communication:

Outbound-only from the client application — no inbound ports required
Periodic short requests (on the order of a few kilobytes) for token validation
All communication via HTTPS / TLS 1.2+

What data is transferred:

License and device identifiers (anonymous GUIDs)
Application and operating system version
No business, personal, or end-customer data processed by the application
